Susan Sawyer, naturalist, artist and teacher and a leader with so much knowledge and and a wonderful sense of humor will lead a moss-finding walk on the Hardwick Trails this Saturday, July 25 at 10:00.
Susan says: “The mosses were the first of the land plants — they don’t get big, and never could, but they cover a lot of ground. This is an introductory moss walk; please don’t expect a name for every moss we see, but we’ll meet some interesting characters and learn about their life cycles.”
