Lessons canceled Saturday, Jan. 25!!

Cabin open from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m. Saturday , Jan. 25 for ski loans.

The Hardwick Trails Loan and Lesson program is in full swing once again, running from January 11 through February 15. Every Saturday morning at 9:00 (weather and trails condition dependent) the log cabin behind Hazen Union School will be staffed with volunteers who will fit you with the right size skis, poles and boots, and send you out to either take a beginner classic ski lesson, take a tour of the trails with a volunteer guide, or simply head out on your own (or with family or friends) for a beautiful ski on our groomed trails. There will also be plenty of snowshoes on hand for those who would prefer a bit slower tour of the forest.

Return to the cabin by 11:00 to check the equipment back in and have a cup of cocoa. Alternatively, you can extend your ski or snowshoe loan through the weekend so as to enjoy some additional time along the trails.

In case of extreme cold, or poor snow conditions we may elect to cancel a Saturday session. For any question regarding the weather or trail conditions, please check Facebook’s “Hardwick Trails” before heading to the cabin.
