INSECT WALK (for everyone!) on the HARDWICK TRAILS
SAT, AUGUST 10 at 1:00
Join naturalist Gail Johnson and butterfly steward Judy Bellairs on a
fun walk to discover some of the insects that inhabit our town.
Participants will find insects everywhere–on plants, in leaves, on the
ground, in water and flying in the air.
We will identify them and learn about their habits and importance.
Judy will show caterpillars and/or chrysalids of American painted lady
and red admiral butterflies, describing how she cares for them.
Bring insect nets to share if you have them.
Meet at the Trailhead behind Hazen Union parking lot for this free
event sponsored by the Hardwick Trails Committee.
