Saturday, JULY 6: ART on the HARDWICK TRAILS

Events

Come join Susan Sawyer, artist-teacher-naturalist extraordinaire, for “Drawing the Forest from the Inside”. Her easy good humor and eye for ‘looking closer’ make her events fun.
Participants will have a slow walk on the Trails with stops to sit and draw. Susan will offer drawing tips, encouragement and a discussion of natural history. Bring your sketchbook toolkit or use the supplies Susan will have on hand. A cushion and a water bottle are good ideas.

The Hardwick Trails Committee sponsors this free event and invites all ages and skills. We meet at the Hardwick Trails Kiosk behind Hazen Union School parking lot. Questions? Call Norma Wiesen at 472-6517. We will cancel in case of rain.

This year we’re asking all birdwalkers to wear masks and observe social distancing.  NO RESERVATIONS REQUIRED.

Walks begin at 7:00 AM each Saturday in May.  We meet at the Hardwick Trails kiosk behind the parking lot at Hazen Union School.

Questions??  Call Ron/Norma at 472-6517.

Spring is here and the trails are looking spring-like…soft, wet, and mushy!  Please give our trails a rest and let them dry out a little before you head out.  I’ll keep you posted on conditions.
