SATURDAY, JULY 26! MEDICINAL PLANTS TRAILS WALK WITH ERIN ROSENTHAL

Are you interested in learning about the abundant medicinal herbs that grow in our neighborhood?  Join community herbalist and herb grower, Erin Rosenthal of Goldenrose Gardens, for a medicinal plant walk on the Hardwick Trails Saturday, July 26 from 1:30-3.  We’ll meet a variety of
native and naturalized plant allies, discuss their preparation and use as medicines, ecological & safety concerns. The Hardwick Trails Committee sponsors this free event and welcomes everyone.

Scavenger Hunt for Kids with Brittany Lumsden-Berry

On Saturday, July 19 at 10:00, bring your small children for a Scavenger Hunt on the Hardwick Trails with Brittany Lumsden-Berry. Brittany says: “Come join me with your Littles for a nature scavenger hunt. Touch , collect, move, and awaken their five senses on the beautiful Hardwick Trails. We will gather and begin our journey near the entrance by the school gym.  Then we’ll stroll through the woods, searching and discovering things in nature, and stopping by the stream for a quick story time.  This is not a drop off event , please be present with your child All ages welcome.” The Hardwick Trails Committee sponsors this free event. With summer in full swing, the Hardwick Trails Committee invites everyone to the magic of our community woodlands: take a walk, get on your bike, bring the kids, get in a run and learn more about our natural world with local experts.
