Mushrooms! Mushrooms! Joe Nudell. will lead a walk on the Hardwick Trails at 9:00 on Saturday, June 28 to find, identify and learn about these fungi, abundant in our woods. Mushrooms can appear suddenly, feed human and animal bellies, sometimes send human minds spinning, have a vital relationship to the trees around them and truly are unique organisms. Joe’s expertise can answer questions like “What’s safe and what isn’t?” “Where and when are the best places to look?” “Why does it look like that?” The Hardwick Trails Committee sponsors this free event and invites everyone.
